It is a must if you are in Gödöllő. Visit the exhibition in the Palace, experience the atmosphere of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, take a walk in beautiful park and enjoy a good coffee or cake in the café.

The castle is amazing and well worth a look. The art, ceiling frescoes and furniture decor are in great condition. If you like castles this is a must.

The royal castle at Gödöllő, has an excellent park to visit and exhibitions worth to see. Every May they participate in a Nature Film Festival where one can enjoy movies and other programmes for free.

About 30 minutes drive from Budapest eastwards. It can be reached also by public transportation (HÉV H8 from the eastern terminal station of M2 underground). I have to admit that the building and the exhibition is not as up to par as the Austrian and/or...More
