Our family (daughters 5 & 8) were in Bannockburn for coffees & fluffies and I visited TripAdvisor for things to do or see. Alan's Gallery appeared on the list and being a nice day we drove there for a look. The gallery is up on the hill, and offers amazing views. We were greeted at the door by the man... More

Visit the gallery, get blown away by the view and be enthralled by the talent on show. We loved our experience up high over Cromwell and the art is superb.

Alan is an accomplished, talented watercolourist. He and interior designer wife, Chris, have designed and built an idyllic space to live and create. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The drive up to the house is VERY steep but it's well worth the effort. What an amazing man Alan is. His quirky mind produces the most fascinating art. I've visited several times and always been received as if I was a friend.

I was amazed at the great variety of artistic styles and influences in the gallery, high up on the windy, dusty road. But oh, so worth the journey. I loved the clever wit, depicted in many of the paintings and enjoyed the stunning views both inside and outside the gallery.

A private gallery in Alan Waters home situated on a ridge with a spectacular view showcases his wonderful art work. The well written stories behind the paintings evoke the imagination to a place that my accountant's brain doesn't normally go. The paintings themselves are truly fabulous. Well worth a visit. Don't let the driveway put you off.

Alan Waters imagination with art runs wild with ideas that you don't see in other places. Thats because he is uniquely different in his approach to his work, which definitely makes it well worth a visit. Think you've seen art before? Maybe, Alan will amaze you!!
