My wife and I regularly go for a walk on the pier. It is good for watching the surfers and judging by the number of fishermen there, it must have good fishing too.

Brought some family members here for a walk on the beach and then the Pier, but by the time we had reached the end of the pier, you could hardly see up or down the beach or back to the cliff because of the coastal...More

You reach it by going through a small slots arcade which adds to the fun. It is a lovely walk to the end which has great views back to Saltburn and the surrounding rocks and cliffs. You can watch the paddle boarders, surfers, fisher men...More

You walk to the end and back...... Ermm... That's about it! An amusement arcade at the shore end. Its a lovely old pier though.

A grand pier with some tasteful seaside attractions such as a couple of fishermen- I hear repeatedly 'have you caught anything' and each reply as if it was the 1st, fabulous!!

We looked at using the pier with two children (9-11) but to be honest it was a bit of a let down just a short walk and not much to see. Nothing to write home about and needs activities to get the kids engaged like...More

Strolling out on a sunny day or going for a (very) brisk walk out of season, the pier is always worth a visit - it's free too! Sometimes the local yarn bombers have been busy and decorated the railings for added interest. It's at it's...More

We had a very enjoyable yet damp visit to Saltburn by the sea...there is a small busy car park at the foot of the hill or you can park and stroll down the hill. We eat fish and chips at the bottom and wandered along...More

Wow! Came in 1968 when I was 5 and won't leave it 50 years again..... for various reasons.... Great views from the pier. The surfing puts Newquay in the shade. Great walks, friendly people and it didn't rain. Great day out.

We always go to Whitby or Runswick Bay and have only been to Saltburn a couple of times before - we will be back! The parking was great, lovely beach, fab walk on the pier, excellent amusement arcade and fantastic weather. We loved it!
