A lovely place to spend a couple of very interesting hours ,the house is really beautiful, full of character and very interesting. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and there is a nice little tearoom and gardens. The moated house is very quirky with sloping floors and the NT have put period costumes etc in the rooms foe added interest.

Very interesting place to spend a couple of hours. The attendent who shoes you round tells a very in depth history of the house. Its not especially large but well worth a visit

Little Moreton Hall is such a special place, we've been coming here for years as our girls have got older, and have enjoyed the many different activities put on at different times of the year. This time it was just a cup of tea in the tearoom for the two of us (as we're NT members already). We enjoyed the... More

Have just attended a basket making course, it was the first one and everyone was very pleased with the instruction and results. We all went home with several woven willow items. We were served tea and biscuits and had a restaurant and a cafe to choose for lunch. It was excellent value. We did encourage the course leaders to repeat... More

Took my Grandchildren they had a great time. Would recommend it. We spent the whole day there. Had lunch in the tea room which was very reasonable and food very nice. Well worth a visit.

On our way to collect our friend from Manchester Airport, we decided to look up National Trust properties en route as we had time to spare. What a little gem. Just off the road, this Disney type crooked house is such a surprise. Our guide was very knowledgeable & humorous, helping us to imagine what it was like living in... More

I came here on Saturday with my parents and grandparents. It's a very beautiful building. What made the day so great was our very knowledgable and excellent tour guide. I'm afraid I can't remember his name but he had every person on the tour hanging off his every word. I normally tend to zone out during these types of things... More

My wife and myself have been members of the National Trust for many years but this was the first time we had visited Little Moreton Hall and what an absolute Gem it is. You really can let yourself be transported back in time and Norman(one of the tour guides was a font of knowledge).

Amazing old Elizabethan Hall. Unbelievably pretty like a black and white wonky gingerbread house. Totally entranced as we approached the hall. Surrounded by a small moat and built on marshy ground the house has bent and bowed with the extra building additions over time. The long gallery on the top floor has the most uneven floor wave ever seen in... More
