Sarah and I had a wonderful day out with eight others being a mixture of Dutch, American and Aussies on this charter ably skippered by Emma with the help of the owner's son Mac. Everything was perfectly done in a very professional but relaxed atmosphere. The lunch was excellent and they even coped magnificently with my garlic allergy. Thank you.... More

Emma was our guide, fun, friendly and very personable. She knows the water well and her craft, a comfortable catamaran with lots of inboard power handles 6 to 9 perfectly. We dropped anchor several times. Swam, hiked, and visited seals. Drinks, snacks, fresh fruit, and an excellent locally sourced lunch was served. Very comfortable, and everyone enjoyed the trip. Wonderful... More

This was the best day of our NZ trip! You're on a fantastically intimate charter, where you're looked after and entertained continuously from 10am to 4pm on a beautiful boat with plenty of space. The hosts are the best, a kiwi father and his son, which makes it that much better. They're both incredibly knowledgeable and informative on NZ history... More

Rod and his son Mac gave us a great experience on our day trip to the National Park. They were ready with historical information and answered questions throughout the trip. Lunch was delicious and quite generous.

Abel Tasman charters is well run, efficient, and lots of fun. We took the tour that included being dropped at the stunning Awaroa Bay. We had a great lunch at Peppers Awaroa Lodge, then hiked over to be picked up at Tonga Quarry beach.

The 10.00am to 4.00pm day out was fantastic. The weather was kind to us with light winds and a mostly sunny sky. We saw some wonderful scenery, Split Apple Rock, a few seals and stopped in two beautiful bays where we could go ashore in the tender craft for short walks, swimming and kayaking. The stopover at Te Pukatea Bay... More

This trip was organised for me by Lee at Split Apple. Kayaking on Abel Tasman had always been on my bucket list and this really was the perfect way to do it. There were only 6 people on board and everyone was really friendly. We went to several spots and then stopped at a beach where we could choose to... More

We spent the day on a lovely boat with a small group of people. The captain Rod Stewart was professional, informative, and provided drinks all day and a lunch made with local products. You can kayak from the boat or go ashore and walk on the beaches.
