Nice beach
Jul 2018 • Couples
Wonderful place with all the facilities (toilets, bar, restaurant, camping, parking) very clean and not so crowded in July. It was a real nice surprise to spend a day without being surrounded by hundreds of people! Highly recommended!

Lovely beach
Aug 2018 • Family
I came here with my family in August and fortunately it was very sunny weather so we decided to come to this beach. It has got everything a beach needs; toilets (basic but they’re there) a cafe, a few showers to rinse off sand, clear waters and clean sand, we went to surfing lessons with a surf school right by the beach and I highly recommend it , the water is perfect for surfing in the area and we had so much fun, you don’t need to have surfed before (we hadn’t) and we loved it. Furthermore the beach never got too busy, there were people but nowhere near as many as you may find in sourthern Spanish beaches , we were all pleasantly surprised by this beach.

Lovely beach, packed out in August - parking ticket!!!
Aug 2018 • Family
Oyambre is a great beach in a fantastic location; it’s therefore very popular on busy days in August. That being said, do go along and have a great time in the surf!
HOWEVER, do not park on the public road leading away from the beach to the west - however legal your vehicle may seem. There are no signs, no lines on the road and yet you may get a parking ticket, like we did. This is in spite of the total parking carnage all around!!
€40 up the bloody swanny! Grrrrr.

great campsite, lovely region
Mar 2018 • Couples
We stayed in this campsite March 2018. Very friendly and helpful staff. The facilities are excellent, very clean. They have a great pool too. It's a short walk to the beach, which is lovely. Or a 2 miles walk to the town. I would highly recommend this site. We toured Spain for 4 weeks, stopping in over 8 sites, and this was the best!.

Huge beach and no one on it
May 2017
Wonderful place , big wide open spaces and hardly anyone there. A couple of decent restaurants nearby. If the weather is good you’re in complete heaven. Gets busy with locals at weekends.

A Beautiful Beach
Jul 2017
We stayed at a nearby campsite and walked down to this beach.
It is a big beautiful beach. There is a large dry sandy area in the centre when the tide is high and at low tide there is a big expanse of flat wet sand. People surf here regularly although to me, a non surfer, the waves seemed quite small.
It was a lovely place to walk along as it gave a couple of miles of seaside walking. There are also nice walking paths not far away - even one of the pilgrim routes to Santiago.
There are a couple of beach bars/restaurants nearby.
The only downside is that rubbish accumulates because the waste bins are not emptied enough and people stack up there rubbish against the bins instead of taking it home!
Otherwise, a nice spot to visit.

Nice wide beach, good surf. Tonnes of surf schools. Well attended by surf rescue. Pay to park, but plenty of parking.
Clean beach.

Beautiful beach!
Jun 2017 • Couples
The Playa de Oyambre is part of a large natural park. In June, when the beach is not crowded yet, you can make long and quiet walks on the lovely sandy beach.

Amazing
Sep 2016 • Couples
This beautiful beach was within walking distance from our campsite. We enjoyed long walks most days. A great couple of bars and restaurant also right on this beach for a after walk beverage or drinks. If you are in this area, this beach is worthy of a visit, for walking, swimming or surfing with a handful of camping areas very close.
