the place is really amazing, the beach is immaculately blue, coupled with the fact that it's a long way from the main road, it's perfect.

You need to walk a little farther from the parking area. There is an entrance fee of 20 pesos per head. The ruins of the old lighthouse makes a gorgeous background for IG :)

My family and I spent several days here and loved it. It is the nicest beach Ive ever been too. The snorkelling is awesome! We saw MANY fish. It was quite busy on the weekend day that we went but that was the be expected - lots of Island Hoppers coming and going.

Second oldest lighthouse in the Philippines, first lighted up in 1894, says its historical marker, but now lies in ruins. Its walls, being reclaimed by nature, has an abandoned cemetery ambiance. The old parola is made entirely out of metal; though slowly deteriorated by rust, it still stands. If you're seeking some adventure, climb up the lighthouse (with your guide,... More

Very interesting Spanish lighthouse now in ruins, replaced by a state of the art light house beacon. History meets technology - very nice short coastal walk to reach it. Free to enter and very picturesque - great for photography. Nice views of the sea too. Well worth a visit.

While guided by the assigned tourguide, you can go up the spiral staircase of the old lighthouse all the way to the top, where you can see the whole cove. Its one of my best moments in Guimaras.

We were lucky to have reached the place just in time for sunset. The view is stunning and the lighthouse adds up to the rustic feel. Must visit!

The Faro de Punta Luzaran, commonly known as Guisi Lighthouse, is the farthest location in our itinerary in our Guimaras tour. Took us more than an hour to get there after 5 short stops. Located at the southwestern coast of Guimaras in Brgy Dolores, Nueva Valencia. The place is quite creepy considering the ruined Spanish-colonial outpost. It was built b... More
