Kilmore Quay is a beautiful picturesque fishing village with a gorgeous harbour and beautiful beach for a long walk. It is definitely worth a visit and maybe even fish and chips in the Saltee’s chipper.

Took a pre-lunch stroll around the harbour in the brilliant sunshine - great feel to the place and hope to go back again.

The best part if you visit Kilmore Quay is not the Fish & Ships but the Fish & Chips in the Saltee Chipper.

This is a pretty little village, quaint and welcoming. Tourist from overseas who love the traditional Irish feel of a place, will find it here. The beach is further down from the main street and offers a lovely stretch of sand to walk.
