Visited Swami malai temple during the last week of Dec17 which is one of the arupadai veedu temples. Having completed all other 5 located in Tiruttani, Tiruchendur, Palani, Tirupparankundram, Pazha muzhur cholai, this one was the last one to visit. Huge but people temple. Not...More

During the Navagraha Temple tour, this is one additional temple ( along with Upillapan and Ayyawadi Sri Pratyingara Devi temple)that one must visit ..It is a nice temple located on a hillock....One has to climb about 100+ steps to reach there...but that was not difficult...More

This temple is on a small hillock tucked away from the road. It is of the six temples for Lord Murugan. It requires one to climb steps to access the temple. It is quite serene up the stair and nice place for darshan

Situated near Kumbakonam, TN India, Swamimalai is 4th Padaiveedu (Divine Home) of 6 Padaiveedu(s) of Lord Muruga..this place is important because the son, Lord Muruga, taught "Pranavamandiram" (Ohm) to his father, Shiva.

This is one of the Aarupadi veedu murugan temples. It is a must visit while in kumbakonam. Very close to kumbakonam town and accessible easily.

This is a old temple and big one also. You will find lots of brass making community located near the temple area. These guy are doing this generation after generation.

I dont think so. Kumbakonam is hardly 8 kms and has all categories of accomodation.
