Travelled as a couple and we stayed at Sichang Villa. Not so ideal furnishings but great location. We rented a scooter to go around the island during our stay. Worth staying a few days if you adore wildlife - namely wild boars, fishing, sunsets. Early morning walks are the quiet and cold at Asdang Bridge and gardens area. If you... More

Hired a canoe from Haad Tham Phang on the South end of Koh Sri Chang. I paddled out to Bat Island (Koh Kaang Krao) in about 30 minutes. Some nice snorkelling about 100m off the main beach. Going during the week I had the Island virtually all to myself. Good spot. Koh Sri Chang is close to both Bangkok and... More

We booked in for three days here and really enjoyed ourselves! We were looking for something close to Bangkok, but I was worried it would be a little too basic or boring. I was wrong! Well, if you're after 5 star hotels, fancy restaurants and bars, spas, pristine beaches... This isn't the island for you. But, I loved it. Simple... More

A beautiful small island which could be wonderful... One small but beautiful beach, some rocky sides, nice temples, nice people.

We took a speedboat from Siracha and within 20 minutes, we were on the island. For a mere 250 BHT, we had the samlor for the day. He took us on a tour of the island and we were amazed at how clean and uncrowded it was compared to other islands. It was a lovely ealxing day away from the... More

This island has changed dramatically in 20 years, but it still offers a very enjoyable day trip or one night option from Bangkok. You can reach the island from Si Racha pier, the town has regular bus link to the airport as well as the two Bangkok bus stations. These days the beach has two no frills restaurants with deck... Koh Si Chang is a forty minute ferry ride from Sri Racha Pier. The departure pier has changed due to construction on larger pier, expected to last two years. The island is a quiet getaway and Tampang Beach has sparkling clean water, and two restaurants at your service.

Spent 2 nights here and one would have been enough. We covered the whole island on a moped in about 2 hours and that included stopping at temples and going up the longish roads on google maps to the very north or the island. The whole island is quite dirty with lots of rubbish everywhere, the view is dominated by... More

Not a bad place, the food was OK too but what really ruined the island was the sheer amount of oil ships. On one side it looks disgustingly industrial whereas the other (by Jampang Beach) was nice. I opted not to swim because of this. If you want a stunning, beautiful island with pristine waters take the extra hour south... More
