Outstanding beach
Feb 2021
Combate beach is one of the best 5 beaches in all of P.R. The clear and calm waters make it an ideal place to relax. The west coast has Playa Sucia, Combate beach and Buye beach that make a fantastic trio.

Always calm and beautiful
Feb 2020
If this was closer to my house, I would go here every day because I like to jog in the ocean as part of my spinal-care. Instead, I get here maybe 3-5 times a month. Once, I got here and there was a ton of traffic for some water-toy event. so i wound up on the "north" side of the main strip and that was nice too. More popular with locals I think, as it is right in a more residential neighborhood. That beach is much shallower than the one on the "south" side of the strip, near Annies. The bathrooms there are closed but its not far into the bar area or you can go to a commercial park/parking lot where i think it's 50c to use the restroom.

great beach
Jul 2019
We loved the beach. Parking can be a hassle. I suggest turning down on left side of the road towards the beach where the camp ground is located. Walk behind the Large condo and it goes straight to the beach. Just follow the locals. Combate Beach has plenty of little places to get something to eat and drink. Rent jet skis whatever you want to do. Bring an umbrella for the beach. Put it in the sand in about 3 foot of water. Then chill out have a cervesa and enjoy life.

Best beach to watch the sunset!
Jan 2020
Hands down because of how perpendicular the beach is to the west. Bring your camera or just be in the moment as you see the bright big sun sink into the horizon. A very long walkable beach that eventually hits the southern most point and becomes Playa Salinas. Enter Combate from the beach resort or from the little town with a few restaurants and shops. I previously came about 8-10 years ago and it was more bustling than this time, probably because Hurricane Maria and the earthquakes have resulted in less tourism. Still a timeless, stunning sunset

A beautiful public beach with trees along the shoreline for shade. Several places close by to grab something to eat or drink. A beautiful sunset spot!

Beautiful beach
Jul 2019 • Couples
The beach was beautiful and it was hidden. We walked passed the resort and found it right away. We had our own cooler with drinks and food. I would suggest bringing food because they do not have any vendors on the beach other than the ice cream guy that walks up and down the beach.

Beautiful beach
Jul 2019 • Family
Combate is a nice beach, beautiful water and pretty safe for the family. Parking is a bit far and I didn't see bathroom facilities by the beach, but the many restaurants around can fix that. If you arrive early, you can park close to the beach by the road for free. There is a huge swimming area, and also an area for boats and jet ski. The water is super clean. There are many restaurant options and prices. Definitely a place to go.
