Great away from the madding tourist crowds. Beautifully kept grounds and easy to get around indoor display area's. Nice little bier garden just outside the gate and easy access and parking near by. Go and see it if you haven't seen a good castle yet.

We stayed in Bad Bentheim on the way to the Netherlands and stopped in to visit the castle. This is a world class castle situated on a high.

The tour in the castle was surprisingly fun. Espacialy with children. The tour is not that long. The children loved to climb the tower.
