In my view, Maryamuzzamani Palace is looks like Red Sandstone Beauty mixed with Culture!!!! Beautiful Wall written by architecture will blown away your mind. Emperor Akbar's Mughal signature shows really some unbelievable structures in Fatehpur like this.

We visited here last week and it was really good. The architecture was brilliant. Its worth having a guide though, I don't think we would have found it as good without knowing what we were looking at. Not to be missed.

About 1 hours drive from Agra. You have to park in a large car park then take a shuttle bus up to the main entrance. We arrived just after 8am. We got on the shuttle bus but the driver would not move until he had at least 10-15 people on the bus. The tickets were only 10 rupees each and... More

The Maryamuzzamani Palace is a beautiful Mughal Building located within the abandoned city of Fathepur Sikri. The building is made of red sandstone and has nicely manicured lawns around it. The walls also have small carvings and one can come across beautiful arches which lead from one room to another. A nice place to spend some time in the Fathepur... More

This place is in Fatehpur Sikri. It is also called Sunhara Makan because it is embellished with paintings. It has total four rooms. It can be easily identified by the blue painting on the roof.

We loved all the detail on the pillars etc. Adorned with tiny elephants. It was busy in some areas, but such a big space that once you are away from the crowd you have plenty of room to sit and admire the architecture.

There is a tomb of Akbar's wife, that is almost near his tomb, although the garden is so beautiful and you may visit the garden and the main bulding in half an hour, but is you are in lack of time you can forget it , instead certainly visit akbar tomb, wich is a biger and more beautiful sample.
