We visited this place already three times. Last time on friday afternoon. There are christmas markts during advent, however only during weekends and the lights in the wood and on the bridges are really nice. Everything is family friendly, we were there with our 7months old son in the pram and we could gk everywhere. Restautant is especially nice, new... More

The Waldwipfelweg offers a wide range of activities from the - not too long - path over the trees, the experience/ educational section and the upside down house. We all enjoyed it and had plenty to do. Entry fee is reasonable and the restaurant offers good value for money. But: bring cash, cards are not accepted which is the only... More

Take a walk along the tree tops on 30 meters hight. Discover animal life through a learning objective. Restaurant and nice playground available. Beware they only take cash!

If you should happen to be in the vicinity of Sankt Englmar in December do spend a late afternoon-evening at the Waldwipfelweg. Ideally it shoud be a clear, not too hazy late afternoon to walk the path to enjoy the vast view. After it gets dark it is a magical time to walk underneath the wooden planks and enjoy the... More

OMG, it really has been a while since I felt completely ripped off. We had to pay 7,50 per adult and 5,00 per child to walk over a bridge of a few hundred meters, max 25-30 meters above the ground, and return on a path explaining stuff about nature only in German. I really, really wonder what this steep price... More

Great tree top walk with amazing views, very educational with lovely attention to detail. The boxes showing birds from the region with a button to press to hear the birds singing was a huge hit not only with the children. Many attractions (all very educational including the many optical illusions) await the guests underneath the tree top walk. Had previously... More

We came here expecting not much more than a high (25m high) walkway among the trees, so we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive extra content even during winter when several of the side activities were not available. Of course, you'll get more mileage out of the nature education panels/activities etc. if you have a German speaker with you, but... More

Someone had a small plot of land and through ingenuity, built a small park with a tree top walkway and a small woody trail, along with some interesting visual and perspective displays, which are now filling his pockets with cash. Note- the inverted house is an extra 2 Euro each to the park entrance price. Admittedly, it's a great view... More

Nice place. We wanted to visit the place mostly because of Haus am Kopf, so the optical illusions path was a nice surprise.

First, I was quite skeptical about the whole thing. I though it was more of a kids thing. But that was actually quite exciting and really scary! It is really high...
