We visited this place in monsoon season and this whole area was flooded. Waterfall at the time was many times it's original size looked awesome. Only eyesore was trash and stupid people breaking most rules related to safety, cleanliness etc

What a gorgeous setting! It could be a dream place if only Indians were not distorting the nature and throwing everything all over. What a dump! Poor nature! They have to learn that plastic is not biodegradable!

It's so good to see the force of nature after the monsoons. Just the sheer noise of falling water makes you remember how powerful nature is. Do visit if you are in South chhattisgarh and there absolutely no ultra activity as some might fear.

Chitrakoot waterfall is at a distance of 30 kms approx. from Jagdalpur railway station. Best seen during and after the monsoon. Unluckily we went in January.. But still we enjoyed it lot.

The nearest big city is Raipur, having Road/Rail/Air connectivity to Mumbai. From Raipur, Jagdalpur is nearly 290 kms by road, it is also Rail connectivity, but the rail journey is far long as compared to road journey.
