Stunning palace with almost unfettered access. The grounds are almost as pretty, with some lovely green spaces largely unnoticed by most visitors.

I live close by and either run, walk, or get some sun rays here during summer. Great place to relax and hang out. Can be busy during summer but still worth visiting. Do it in conjunction with visiting the zoo or having lunch at one...More

So beautiful, it's the best and nice castle of Denmark. The visit is really recommended, long and suggested with the audioguides. Very nice the garden and lake also, to visit and "breath".

A lovely castle arranged as a visual history of the area with old portraits and brand new ones along with period furniture. The views are amazing.

This is a very beautiful place with great views. The art in this castle is absolutely breathtaking, way better than any of the local art galleries. There is a good range of old and new art in many styles, and there are some familiar faces!...More

This is well worth the time and money to visit. It makes for a very imposing castle and all the signage is translated into English so you ddont miss anything.

I am afraid it is not, at first look there is 9 zones in between Sydhavnen and Hillerød Stations. You can buy extra zones ticket at internet or at the stations in a ticket machine

It is actually a military facility now - so one can only see the church (if I remenber correctly). The park is nice tough. You can go to Rosenborg Slot instead - this is were the crown jewels are kep.
