Beautiful walk. Great cafe

Beautiful walk along the estuary, check the tide times though as some of the paths are shut at high tide. Cafe is great for family and dogs.

Visited for the first time today. Had to ask for barrier to be opened as we have a roof top box for the wheelchair (signage info for this would be useful). Went to visitors centre first to pick up a map and quickly got introduced to the trampers - a sort of off road mobility scooter. Went to cafe for... More

Fantastic place for a walk in all seasons - just take wellies! You can buy an ice cream half way round too. Play area for the kids is great, nicely protected from the wind too so can be lovely even when there's a breeze.

I take my 3 year old grandaughter here quite regularly, she loves making dens in the wood and exploring the play activities

Perfect for taking the dog and ending with a visit to the cafe. Blueberry scones and chocolate cake a must have.

Just nipped in for a coffee as we are local no one else in young staff just stood around laughing and joking. Tables still with dirty pots, scattered sugar. The floor and down the side of sofas filthy. Glad I didn't eat.

We always enjoy a walk to the country park. A great walking path along the estuary. Great for walking dogs. The new cafe onsite is dog friendly which is great for rainy weather. A lovely full breakfast is served there too! I believe that bat walks and other activities are also carried out here. A fantastic park for children with... More

We often passed the signs for this place on our way to Fleetwood. On deciding to take a look we were pleasantly surprised Our dogs loved it too. We finished off our walk with coffee and toasted teacake which were reasonably priced. Lots of other tasty looking things on the menu too. We went again a few weeks later and... More
