Just nipped in for a coffee as we are local no one else in young staff just stood around laughing and joking. Tables still with dirty pots, scattered sugar. The floor and down the side of sofas filthy. Glad I didn't eat.

We always enjoy a walk to the country park. A great walking path along the estuary. Great for walking dogs. The new cafe onsite is dog friendly which is great for rainy weather. A lovely full breakfast is served there too! I believe that bat walks and other activities are also carried out here. A fantastic park for children with... More

We often passed the signs for this place on our way to Fleetwood. On deciding to take a look we were pleasantly surprised Our dogs loved it too. We finished off our walk with coffee and toasted teacake which were reasonably priced. Lots of other tasty looking things on the menu too. We went again a few weeks later and... More

Nice riverside walk, with great views across the river to the Bowland Fells. Good parking too. Only downside is people not picking up after their dogs :(

We visit here regularly with our dog and enjoy walking round the Estuary even when it is sometimes a little muddy! It's brilliant for taking cycles on aswell! There is a really nice cafe near the parking area which is reasonable priced and serves good food & snacks! A very recommended day out!

A versatile area, with ample free car park! You can enjoy a number of different walks from this location, either along the river going both ways, or move inland and young children see horses and cows along the way. You can always go blackberry picking as well. There are picnic tables and plenty of space to bring you're picnic blanket. Area... More

My sister and her husband were visiting on the last Saturday in August. I decided to take them on the circular walk around Stanah, starting and finishing at Skippool Creek. Half way round we had a coffee and a snack at the Wyreside caf. The staff were very helpful and answered all the questions that we asked them in a... More
