Wyre estuary walk is a comfortable flat walk with super views over the river wyre across to Hambleton. Can be a little muddy after rain so boots or wellies should be worn then. You can walk through lanes to Stannah or carry on to Skipool...More

A great fuel stop following a good wander. Al had the full breakfast and declared it excellent! I joined my parents in a sausage barm, which was fabulous!

I don't think there's a bus from Blackpool, though you could get bus 4, or 3 to cleveleys bus station then the bus from there into Thornton village, but not directly to estuary, I think it's the 74/75
