Unfortunately, the site was closed when we visited, but the outside signage was informative. There is no designated parking, but we were able to park across the street.

I gave it a low rating as it never seems to be open. However you can walk around it and view the plaques. Very peaceful site

An important battle occurred here, at what was originally a windmill, in 1838 and troops gathered at Fort Wellington to prepare for battle in the Canadian Rebellions. Visitors can climb the tower but check dates and times.

Walking in Prescott with our friends (Volksmarch ) we took the opportunity to visit this site following our tour of the Fort Wellington. Very impressive and not to be missed.
