Nothing compares to the feeling of being in Epidauros at dusk, waiting to see an ancient tragedy / play. There are so many great and collective memories rising from the subconscious that if you cannot taper them and control them, they can drown you in...More

This place is definitely worth visiting if you are on the island. Its amazing that this theater is so well preserved and is still used. There are other ruins that are within the area, it took us about 1,5 hours to explore the area.

A must see place ...we saw Orestis by Evripides in an unparaller scenery. Our 12 year old daughter said it was the highlight of our summer holiday so far.

Almost everybody knows a bit about the acoustics of the theater! It is an impressive one, and the experience is a bit surprising! People that that talk normally on the stage, can be heard clearly at the top rows. Nevertheless, there is a complete archeological...More

We came in the evening to watch Elektra and the whole experience was amazing - the theatre in open air and fact that you could enjoy it in the same way and layout as thousands of years ago make it for a unique experience. The...More
