Nice stop on a day tour from Athens together with Mycenae. You don't need a lot of time. For me about 1 hour is fine. Just impressive to take in what construction skills people had nearly 3000 years ago.

The theater is worth the admission to the site. Knowing that you are walking and sitting on marble and limestone that was carved over 2000 years ago is amazing. The place is in great shape. The rest of the site is just another well organized...More

We came to Greece for 5 days, and one of them we spent visiting Mycenae and Epidavros. The theater was just amazing and filled us with totally unexpected awe. It just pops up from the trees out of nowhere and is grand!
