Mount Majura Vineyard is an dynamic boutique wine brand. The cellar door at Mount Majura Vineyard is set up to allow guests take their time tasting the wines by experiencing a seated wine tasting. Self guided ‘gumboot tours’ around the vineyard provide a more active option, allowing participants to learn more about viticulture. The vineyard is about 2 km from the northern end of the Majura Road, or about 9 km north from Canberra Airport.

Some unusual wines and some of them are very interesting. Worth spending an hour there. Tempranillo (blended) is very-very nice! If you are lucky - you will be allowed into the winemaking area. Don't be shy and chat to Brooke.

We were in Canberra visiting family, and one of our Australia tick boxes was to go to a vineyard. Mount Majura was 15 minutes away from Gungahlin where we were staying - and what a find it was. It was too hot to enjoy walking...More
