Attended "camp" with family during vacation. Staff were informative and kind but do kind of robotically do their job due to the crowds. You get to ride an elephant around a jungle area with rice patties, fruit trees and finish through a water moat. Elephants...More

Rang to inquire about price without lunch or guided tour etc, they agreed for 780000 per person on phone. Then on arrival by scooter using Google maps and street signs: looking for The Chocolate Pod sign, asked to pay 95000idr/person for ticket entrance as we...More

This is cruelty at its worst and trip advisor should STOP their unethical ways of advertising such barbaric trips at the expense of these poor poor animals that are beaten with BULLHOOKS and chained up. Heartbreaking cruelty, condoned by trip advisor. Archaic, disgusting cruelty. Dame...More

Upsetting treatment of animals forced into close physical contact with tourists - avoid at all costs.

An absolute disgrace how the elephants and other animals (monkeys) were treated. These animals are not for our entertainment they are wild animals.

Me and my friend were a bit naive to embark on this trip to the elephant camp. As soon as you arrive and see the elephants you can see the sadness in their eyes. They are so strangely obedient, as if the guides do punish...More

I'm really shocked about this kind of "entertainment". I'm surprise in 2017 people stil believing in exploitation of animals like to pass a good time. Animals are not ours to entertainment! You can visit a country, a sanctuary and save those animals. Please! STOP IT!
