Stopped here when driving around the Lasithi Plateau. 19th century Monastery. Not a lot to see but worth a stop.

The grounds are really well kept and inside the church is very pretty. Plenty of things to see both inside the church and also in the hagiography workshop.

This monastery is beautiful. Very peaceful, pretty surroundings and extremely helpful staff. Great to buy smelling oils, lavender, and soap to name but a few of their products. The toilets need some work doing to them but otherwise everything else is idyllic!

In addition to a quiet and relaxing site with a small bird museum, one can find an excellent local thyme honey as well as pressed olive oil on site. There are also small bottles of artisanal Mastic and herbs for infusions.

Lovely little place went on the tour bus only stayed for about 10 mins there was little looked well looked after fountain of life
