We took the bus from Chora Sfakion at 9AM (check on Internet the timetable, they use to change it when the school begin) to Aradena. The "wooden bridge" is, actually, an iron bridge with wooden floor. There is no danger for the bus (or car)....More

Long and nice full of serpentines road goin there. Exciting views on montines road then on Aradena village and bridge as well. Unforgettable experience guaranteed.

We are not the most experienced walkers but reasonably fit and enjoyed the Samaria gorge. One of us doesn't have the greatest head for heights but found the walk up the hillside from Loutro to Anapoli quite manageable, a lot less scary than it looks...More
