Stunning waterfalls. We found that during our hiking holiday in Highlands. They are "hidden" a little from the path, but worth to see. It was exciting experience. When climbing down to upper fall, pay very close attention to your steps. Stones are slippery, especially when...More

Lovely circular walk which is very well laid out, particularly by the falls. Either way a hard but doable climb to start on uneven ground but well worth it. Make sure you go into the Hermit’s Cave, it is dark to start but as a...More

Uphill to the falls ... wonderful views! Exciting falls ... the sound of so much water moving fantastic! Back to the village ... care needed on many sections but well worth the effort!

Well worth a visit - good strenuous walk up and an interesting walk through the hermits cave to view the falls then onto the top and round and then down again via a viewing platform - absolutely lovely

The circular walk up to the falls, over the bridge and down through the woods has been a great walk for us when our family was young. Now that our boys are in their teens, the walk up to the stone circle and on to...More

Take your time up the moderately steep stoney track to the Hermit's Cave and keep looking back at the wonderful views. Have a torch (or phone) handy and creep through the cave to be rewarded with the first glimpse of the falls. Back through the...More

We took the walk and have to say found the steep upward section quite arduous. A couple of brief rests at the Hermit’s Cave and Viewpoint went down well. The views of the Falls on the downward journey (closest to Acharn) were spectacular, and being...More

It's not the longest walk in the world but it's beautiful! Quite a step start to the walk but easy enough. Lovely views and was quite quiet when I visited.

Took the walk up to the falls à day after heavy rain and it was fantastic. The first view of the falls through the Hermits Cave was breathtaking. We walked further up the hill and crossed a couple of bridges, again the falls were spectacular. Lovely...More
