Great Temple which is like a picnic spot
May 2019 • Family
This is a great and sacred temple of Shakumbari Devi. Here you can go with your family. I think it is also a great picnic spot because here you can easily spend hours outside the temple. There is also a system for eating out of the temple. Photography can be done outside the temple, but inside is not valid.

Holy Shakti peeth
Mar 2019 • Couples
The holy temple of Ma Shakumbhari is located in Saharanpur district in UP. You can see Shivalik hill range , the approach to temple is through dry river bed. There will be a huge Mela in April month for which preparations were going on . The Devi Darshan were very easy this time but during Mela there are huge queues and large number of devotees come . A holy place must visit . No photography allowed inside the temple.

Temple of goddess.. at beautiful foothills
Feb 2019 • Family
Just beautiful location. The temple is situated at the foothills of the Saharanpur
district. The journey is really beautiful. After this journey you will get the chance of worshiping the goddess. This is a small temple at a very remote place. There are no nearby hotels or restaurants. You just go there and come back. The place is full of monkeys. There are local small shops where you get some food as well as tea.

Near to Saharpur
Jun 2018 • Family
Near to Saharpur. In case there is no traffic jam and crowd, you should be able to back to saharanpur in half a day. The last 1-2 kms stretch is not good and can be entirely flooded in rains. So plan your trip based on weather forecast. It's a small temple. Anything special to share on that. But you will get kadi Chawal outside temple in almost all shops.

Shakumbhri devi temple
Jul 2017 • Family
It is located in district Saharanpur, 35km ahead of mainland of Saharanpur.
No road in the last 2km area. We have to walk on the river(without water, filled only by rain water). Some people tries to take there car on the river but the land is weak and car go inside the land which create lots of trouble for them.
Very long queue, I have to wait for 3 hours for the darshan.
Scenery of the area is beautiful. But the overall trip is stressful

Religious Trip
Aug 2016 • Family
Holds religiously a top spot for the people staying in western UP. Have been there a couple of times with family. Always crowded. I think October would be a good month to go due to weather. Always full with pilgrims. Suggested to carry own food as the option are not that great there apart from small eateries/kiosks. One should reach by 11 am as it takes few hours due to the cue at the temple.
