Everything about this place is quiet, but so nice. I love the beach anyway but you really can relax.

I walked the length of this beach & back every other morning of a 14night stay, the other days were spent at sea visiting other islands, this beach offers 5k of a winding beach with a mix of sand or shingle on the shoreline, plenty space for kids activities or just a lounge in the sun, the water is warm... There's a lovely sandy beach here and crystal clear water, and the basilica remains to have a look at too. We swam out to the island (our guidebook said you could wade out to it but you definitely need to be able to swim!) There's not a lot on the island when you get there but it's a nice thing... More

Lovely swim out to the Island to see the small church. I would recommend swimming out with beach shoes or with your flip flops as its very rocky and sharp when you reach the island. Once there its got stunning views front and back and well worth a visit.

Was recommended this spot by a number of locals. Follow the road signs to this beach but as you descend down and become close the coast turn off where you see the sign for (the now deserted) Club Med resort, there's a small road just to the right of the Club Med sign. The access road is not long and... More

Walk past the old ruins and you stumble on this beautiful beach. Very quiet when we were there. One area claims " No rocks" and it is indeed very sandy whilst most other beaches are shingly. Try Katerinas Taverna at the far end - lovely for a spot of lunch.
