This museum is one of my favourite in Denmark. Exhibitions there are always interesting and made with love. The shop,the park and the cafe are also good. I love going there and spend a half day.

The mansion in itself is adorable - just outside Copenhagen and less visited probably but worth the detour if there is a nice exhibition, as the house itself doesn't visit on its own. There is also a beautiful baroque garden - maybe more pleasing in summer, but nevertheless intriguing with its strict architecture. The restaurant which also visits without going... More

We arrived quite late but had time to view the very nice gardens. Not sure if the house part is normally open too. The gardens look new but are made in the original designs. Lots of statues, mostly old style but one new. The gardens are fairly small so easy to walk around.
