As we were in the area we decided to take a look at one of the extinct volcanoes that are scattered around. Drove into Olot and got a map and some information from the tourist office, who were very helpful. Parked in the municipal cemetery and walked up. There are 2 ways, up to the left is slightly harder, but... More

It is a nice finsih of one of the walks through the national park and can be taken on the way back to home. Best is to park Close to the cementary. There is a large car park wich you will come to when you follow the signs to the vulcano and cementary. But this one is always full. There... More

Very quiet and peaceful place, climbing the volcano offers a nice view of the small town and the surroundings. On top is a small church and the ruin of an old tower, the crater itself is covered by bushes.

A very quiet and peaceful place. Took some time to find it. Had to look up coordinates on Google. Short easy walk to the top.

Nice views for a rather common place Being so close to Olot's downtown, Mostsacopa is one of the easiest and most accessible options if you are looking for visiting one of the many volcanoes this area is famous for. You will find a remarkable climb which is actually a Christian Calvary in your way to the top of the mountain,... More

Climbing the volcano is 15 minutes walk that whorts it. From the top you can have a 360degrees view of the city, as you walk around the crater. A perfect viewpoint of Olot.

This is one of the several acient volcanos located in this small town. There is a parking area at the foot of the mountain. The path is well maintained and walking uphill is not hard at all. Once on top of the hill, the view of the town and nearby mountains is so beautiful that I did not want to... More

We walked up this hill (extinct volcano) one morning and enjoyed the views from the top. Lots of birds singing - a bit of country in the town. The crater itself is overgrown. Views in all directions beg for photographs.
