Our taxi driver dropped us off at the beach. The hotel might be nice, we never really saw it, just a snack bar and changing rooms. Activities are available on the beach, but be prepared to pay for them and to tip the providers. Roving vendors will try to sell you necklaces and other stuff, but just a wave of... More

We stayed at this resort for a week; the staff made our visit lovely. In the condo section, it's not 5 star, but it's clean and the hospitality made up for any lack of luxury. Food was good, 3 restaurants to choose from so lots of variety. Bar staff off the charts!

From the port, Taxis are $100-$120 roundtrips and it takes 30 minutes. This was a better option for us than the Shuttle because we wanted to go directly to the beach. If you like shopping the shuttle from the port takes you to a shopping area. The Shuttle is $24 per person roundtrip. The only thing is that it takes... More

We came here on a cruise excursion and it was terrible. There weren't enough chairs on the beach so we had to sit near the bar. Wait staff stopped to ask if we needed anything twice in four hours. The second time, the waiter took our order and never returned. The drinks had zero alcohol and the lunch was about... More

I was a guest at the Mayan Princess and got to meet many day pass guests coming from the cruise ships. They all raved about the beauty of the facility and the enjoyment of smooth sand and crystal clear waters.

Beautiful beach, great staff who look after you and your belongings, loungers, drinks, food, awesome snorkeling, all for $35usd per person including taxi to and back. Would definitely do this stop again.

Did a day pass here on our cruise ship stop in Roatan. Maybe it was because there were 3 ships in port this day but the beach was just way too crowded up and down the entire beach. The drinks were ok at best and the bartenders didn't know how to make anything other than pouring something out of a... More

The day was overcast, but we were still able to enjoy the beautiful beach. It was very clean and all the people were extremely friendly.

We wanted an a Island tour but it was over $100 per person. Asked around and got a wonderful tour guide who was amazing and so knowledgable. Ernesto charged $100 for our group of four! It was at our own pace and showed us the whole Island.

After a zip lining excursion, we were taken to the Mayan Princess Resort for the afternoon. The beach is absolutely amazing with long views out into the ocean, tons of sports/activities available, and local vendors for food/crafts. The hotel offered a couple complimentary drinks, and a secure area on their beach (security guard patrolled). Lounge chairs are provided either in... More
