Djemila is absolutely worth of visit! Like one commentator before, I've been also in Colosseum in Rome and think that Djemila is SO much more beautiful and stunning than Colosseum! The beautiful nature and Roman ruins make the place extraordinary! Also our children (ages 5-13...More

The ruins of an ancient Roman Empire city. Efforts must be made to ensure that the area is clean and well maintained.

A very astonishing spot located in the mountains, surrounded by valleys and springs. A site where you have to pay for parking, visiting the city and visiting the museum.

Cuicul Roman Ruins otherwise known as Djemila, was outstanding. As you climbed up the hill toward the museum you walk through the earliest to the last age of the ruin instead of having the layers stacked on top of each other. The only still standing...More

A total roman city (the city was started 96AD and somewhat destroyed 431) where you can walk around on top of everything. See how the town was layer out, visit the temples and walk on the mosaics. You will probably be the only foreigner on...More
