Very informative, interactive coffee tour across scenic grounds containing sugar, cacao and coffee plantations. The tour introduces you to how coffee, cacao and sugar cane are grown and processed. It is a fun thing to do with kids and I highly recommend it. The cocoa you taste before the leche (milk) is added is probably the best and freshest chocolate... More

The tour was excellent. It is cheaper and more recommended than in La Fortuna area as it combine coffee, sugar and Choco tour in one. The guide was knowledgeable and nice. We loved it

This was a fun, informative tour of not only the coffee grown there but also the chocolate and sugar cane. Our guide was very good and answered all our questions. The chocolate part was my favorite, but the coffee was a close second. We made sugar cane candy that we gave to our hotel receptionist. I think sugar cane candy... More

I was skeptical about the coffee, cocoa and sugar cane tour, but proved to be well worth while. Our young lady guide was excellent, provided plenty of explanation, but not too much detail. Very good exhibitions on coffee and cocoa making, as well as crushing sugar cane in a traditional manner. the toffee that they made form the sugar cane... More

Enjoyed this tour of sugar cane, cocoa and coffee bean education... we also had a hands on cocoa butter making course. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and stopped to answer all our questions

This tour was terrific! The guide, Diego, was very knowledgeable and I learned so much about the coffee manufacturing process as well as the sugar cane. We even got a taste of the freshly made cocoa at the end of the tour. Very impressive.

This tour was very informative and interesting. Many samples were included throughout the tour with a more formal tasting at the end. We got to make our own raw sugar to take home, too. They pick you up at your hotel if it is nearby which makes it convenient.

Learn about coffee, cocoa, sugar. How it is grown and processed. Much more interesting than it sounds! Very hands on. You get to taste everything.

We went to this tour in May of 2016. Although we were the only ones there that day with young children 9, 6, and 4 they had a great time as well as us. The favorite for sure was the chocolate. We homeschool and so it was also very educational. We had been to chocolate factories in the states but... More
