The Devil's Throat is an abyss cave. It is a unique cave located in the Trigrad Gorge (one of the most beautiful gorges in Bulgaria). The cave is called Devil's Throat because many people have died when trying to swim through the abyss. Nothing that enters this abyss can be seen out - in the river which exits the cave.... More

Devil's Throat it's a one of it's kind cave. Besides it's interesting legend, it is an absolute surprising and spectacular place to visit. The entrance is easy, from the parking lot, being constructed back in 70s. After an easy walk inside, you get to an enormeous cavity in the heart of the mountain, with an undergound river. From there, you... More

Plenty of caves in the area. Nature is magnificent. After completing the tour visit Haramiiska cave. Also nearby shops providing one of the best honey you could ever try in Bulgaria.

This cave was fabulous, the guide was lovely who explained everything in detail and even took us to the river to see the blind fish. He pointed out the colony of bats which was fantastic. The cave wasn't marked by lots of fake light or gimmicks and it was cheap to go in too. The stairs to the exit were... More

This is an authentic place and according to National Geographic is one of the most mystical caves worldwide. We went there in the autumn when the mountain is full of splendid foliage colours. The road goes through a winding gorge and takes your breath away. A friendly warning to the visitors: don't buy honey from the local sellers because it... More

Amazing grotto. No need for explanation, cerainly because there is no (apart from a leaflet in English) if you do not speak Bulgarian. Quite a walk in the grotto and a VERY long flight of stairs to get to the exit. The nature around the grotto is also beautiful.

Amazing cave situated in the Rhodopes, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, also because is really different from caves I'm used to. The visit is not long but the sight is breathtaking and once I climbed the stairs to get out form the rocks I felt really thrilled. The legend says that this is the place where the... More

Although not that big and the walk is rather short inside, the cave is still must see for those who admire the natural beauty. It is located in one of the most amazing and beautiful parts of Rhodopi mountain. The road to Trigrad in this part is so narrow with rocks like hanging from the sky, embracing you kindly but...
