You will love the views. Rhodope mountains are magical. The temple is well preserved. The gift shop is great where you can buy a book or a gift. This wonderful place is one of our 100 best known attractions in Bulgaria. Please, preserve the nature.

You need your own transport but it's worth following the minor road up as the views of the gorge are very dramatic. Sadly when we visited renovation of the castle made it difficult for us.
