Good for kids to get some basic notions on ecology and on turtles and to approche them. But for adults a bit a waste of time. But interesting to help the turtles care unit and rehab.

Nice up-close viewing of variety of sea turtles. Appear to be well cared for. Convenient location off main road between St. Leu and Saline les Bains.

This place provides an excellent amount of information - if you understand French. A real pity, as we were not the only English-speaking visitors there. The opportunity to sit in front of a massive sheet of glass looking into the aquarium provides time to watch more than just turtles - we found it mesmerising. It seems this place does lots... More

It's a nice place to drop in & have a look at all their turtles. Hard to find out anything about them though or the research programs being undertaken because there's no information in English. Could have been a lot better for this reason but in any case I'm glad they're doing something to protect them.

The turtles are very well cared, it's not an aquarium because they use to return the turtles to the sea when they are sane. We needed an english guide, they don't have... And we didn't see the little turtles, it would be a unique thing! We don't like people who touch the turtles, even there is a sign forbidding it.... More

A very well run facility, with lots of displays and informative signs. Unfortunately they're all in French, so makes understanding the descriptions a problem if you don't speak French

I have been to few turtles sanctuary in Malaysia, compare to those, it is more organize and well facilitated, all the turtles are well taking care. However I just feel like the turtles are no more freedom, and being locked in the big "pool" to ensure all the visitors are able to view it. I believe it doesn't have a... More

I enjoyed my visit to this museum/ turtle sunctuary. It does a good job of explaining the life of marine turtles. And offers close encounters with turtles, most of which seem to be here for their protection (one was missing a flipper for instance) rather than for pure display purposes. A great experience for families and kids, too
