This is the place to go for happy hour and an amazing sunset (whether or not you spend the day at the beach here). Dany is an island guy who really knows how to take care of his guests. He makes a great rum punch - rents chairs and umbrellas at the beach - and has become a friend to... More

Dany's is an institution on the island and he really needs to be front and centre on any tourists' list of to do's. Full service provided with chairs and drinks on the beach as well as plates of BBQ chicken and ribs - possibly the best I have ever eaten. He has a loyal following of tourists (the Lemon Drops... Many are right that Dany operates out of a tent. But this is a blessing. Cupecoy Beach is a natural location which Dany overseas. He'll provide chairs, umbrellas, and drinks or all kinds. On a perfect private beach like Cupecoy, its good to have a friendly and knowledgable guy like Dany on patrol, providing everything you need.

If you go to the this beach stop by and buy a drink or some food from Dany's. He is a great guy and cares about his beach and his customers. He will watch your car, make you lunch, supply you with drinks, or even a beach chair or umbrella for a small fee.

After numerous visits to St. Martin and several stays at condos on Cupecoy Beach, we knew how to find Dany's. There are only two small signs near main road. To get to the beach, one has to brave the short, dirt, rutted road to its end. Although the rest of Cupecoy (we no longer stay there) has grown into a... More

This is a clothing optional beach that no one person finds by accident and its too bad if you were coming thinking you were going to cozumal and everyone was going to be 30 yrs old and gorgeous. Dany's is a tent, with a cooler and a grill. Then you step down the steps to the small beach where a few (no doubt) European folks in the 50s-60s are standing around enjoying the day and each other's company completely naked. And did I mention the long dirt path barely marked to find this beach?....the path with fire ants... More
