What travellers are saying
- LightPacker5934161 contributionI bought an half day experience for my partner and I went along as a non-participant. We could not recommend this highly enough. The birds were amazing. Lily who looked after our group was fantastic; so knowledgeable and friendly and her love for the birds was clear to see. We got amazing photos throughout the experience. Even as a non-participant we were involved in the whole experience. Well worth the price and would definitely do this againWritten 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a swimming pool, café, 2 children’s play areas, outdoor gym equipment, public toilets as well as a beautiful lake and a field. There are wood you can walk in behind the park as well have beautiful flowers planted on the grassy areas and a tree dedicated to Billericay for its contributions to the show ‘Gavin and Stacey’. There is also a newly installed duck food machine and the younger children’s play area has just been completely redone. A wonderful place for yourself, couples, families or friends to have a nice time.Written 14 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniel T1 contributionWe had the pleasure of the doing brewery tour which was great fun from start to finish. Our tour guide took the time to really explain the beer brewing process, offering great insight into the industry and how different beers are produced. We were well refreshed throughout the session, sampling 5 of their beers which went down well with us all! The small and intimate nature of the brewery is a blessing and made the experience so much more personable. Would love to come back and sample more beers in the future! A great day. - Nicky RackhamBillericay, UK2 contributionsI contacted Laura the day before we needed to get to Heathrow as lugging cases, family seemed all too much to get to the station and trains. Laura responded very quickly, confirmed exactly what we needed & timings.
On the morning we had a call about an hour before (Laura knew I'd been concerned about timings so I wanted an earlier pick up, for good measure) to inform us she would be with us at 9:10 (we needed to leave about 09:30 but Laura knew I'd like to go earlier if possible)
Dropped outside the Teminal. Lovely journey. Laura / Armstrong Cars took the strain. Effortless for us. Thank you!
Likewise, on the way back ... again equally pleasant / effortless! When collecting our luggage, saw two texts on my phone. One from Laura telling us Mark would be in arrivals to collect us, with his number. The other from Mark, stating the top he was wearing and where he was standing at arrivals.
Thank you so much. Very thoughtful efficient understanding service all round. (Very clean cars and very good drivers too)

- Sacha29 contributionsI compliment the Burstead ground staff who have managed to keep the course in great condition despite the recent bout of terrible weather we have had. The course is in great condition and the greens are superb and very true. There are grounds people constantly attending to the course to keep it in good condition and the hard work is really paying off.Written 21 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julie WLondon, UK453 contributionsGreat night at the theatre to see the Blackadder Comedy Dinner Show. Never been to this sort of show before but it worked very well. The characters portrayed a story in stages in between the courses. The actors were all very good and the voices particularly were of note. It's lovely to have a small local theatre in the town. The actors told us they toured with their shows and that they did other themes so will be looking to come and try another one - Vicar of Dibley was mentioned and I think that would work in this way too.Written 15 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
