The trip was beyond amazing and the areas we were taken to were truly breathtaking. A wonderful introduction to the bustling Tokyo. Aoi was a wonderful guide and I felt very welcomed; her smile and laugh was contagious! It was definitely worth it!
We tend to avoid “touristy” activities which this clearly is - so we were a bit hesitant. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. The food was great, we learned a lot, and the sumo was fantastic. Our 9 year old adored the whole evening.
We loved Koba! It was our first day in Japan and he helped us navigate the subway, showed us all the main historical sights, and gave us context we wouldn't have gotten anywhere else.
All the sightseeing places were good. Best was the Tokyo Sky Tree. The tour of the Emperors Palace was a long walk. It best seen while driving around it
Nak was a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. Particularly loved how he helped my partner and I take lots of beautiful photos at lots of different spots across Tokyo. On top of guiding us very well with historical facts and shrine/temple etiquette, he was a very sweet and humorous man that we were able to bond with during our short time together. Thank you for the beautiful memories of Tokyo, Nak!
This was a wonderful experience for my family. Hiroko was our fabulous tour guide. She is the seriously the best and I would highly recommend requesting her. She met my family in our hotel lobby, showed us how to use the train system, customized our day for us based on our requests. Instead of trying to navigate through Tokyo oursleves, she provided a fun day for all of us to just enjoy and take in all the joys of this fascinating city. She was so informative and explained things to us with a little humor so the kids really connected with her. By the end of the tour, we felt we had known her for years. Hiroko became part of the family! I would highly recommend this activity especially one of the first few days of your trip so you can get acclimated with city. Thank you Hiroko for the best day in Tokyo. We miss you and hope to see you again soon.
Btw, she is also an excellent, knowledgeable shopping guide if you want to have that kind of experience too.
I want to express my gratitude for the fruitful cooperation of the "Doko Trip" company, for its contribution to our common great cause. Many thanks for the work of your employee Anees for his advice, kind words, support, understanding, responsiveness and for his desire to help us, for his skill, for his honesty and decency. I wish you good luck and success in your future professional activities! Thank you very much!
This was the first time I have visited Toyko & it was suggested that I book a tour. I'm so glad that I did because our tour guide, Mattia, was the best!! First, he contacted me before I arrived in Japan to ask me what sites I would like to see. Then, on the day of the tour he patiently drove us all over Toyko showing us all the highlights and giving us time to see each place incorporating his hints for each site. His English was perfect and he patiently answered all of our questions. I loved all of his stories and honesty. I was so happy that he was our introduction to Japan that it made our experience there so memorable!
My driver was Kibo, from Uzbekistan who speaks perfect English and very accommodating. His service was top notch. Chatted about random things and his recommendation for lunch was delicious. Highly recommend
Our guide, Yoshiko, was informative , attentive, very jovial and just a treat to be with. We enjoyed the experience and recommend Cycling Holiday Tokyo highly! Learned so very much along the way!
