You can reach this place with a taxiboat, it takes approximately 20 mins from the Scario’s port. The taxiboat departures every hour (from 9 am till 13 pm) and it comes back every hour (from 14 pm till 18 pm).
The beach is quite small, but for sure u can find a spot to lay your towels; half of the beach Is sandy, half is in rocky: so you can choose where to lay and get suntan. Totally recommended rocks-shoes, so won’t hurt ur feet. Here u can find a “ristoro”, in other words a little restaurant, that is called “tana del lupo”. You can bring your own food, paying a little fee (1 euro), sit in the shadows of pini marittimi (a tipical Pine from here) and rest OR you can ask from the menu: pasta (try “spaghetti del lupo”) or freselle or grilled meat. Everything is more than affordable, it’s cheap!

One big advice: this place is reachable only by boat, so please don’t leave any type of garbage there, ESPECIALLY burnt cigarettes.

Beautiful hike to the peak. You need to be somewhat in shape or take your time and go slow. Definitely worth it if you like mountain hikes.
You need a pair of good hiking shoes and lots of water and a bit of good/healthy snack.
It is marked ok climbing however not a good marking system coming back down. Follow the red and white marks. We saw only red marking on the rocks here and there but took that us to a different path. Don’t follow it unless you know what it means.

Have a map with you. We got a map from our hotel lobby down at the village and that saved us when we followed the wrong markings to no marking at all.

It should take about 5 hours including quick rests to do the loop. Unless you are in a better shape or prefer slower pace.
    Enjoy.

Before going to dinner, you should definitely visit Bar Tony and drink a very good white wine accompanied by tasty (no extra charge) bites. The view is great, on one side the harbor, the other side all the people wandering over the lungomare..

Two housewine white together with the tasty bites costs €6. In Holland that is a steal!

Highly recommended, the waiters are very friendly as well!
