- Amrutha R3 contributionsIt was a great experience to view Bintan from a different perspective. The highlight of the trip was the speed boat in the mangroves. Witnessed plenty of tree snakes hanging right above our heads. An out of the world experience in the heavy rains. The zoo was another way to explore Bintan which we weren't aware of. Plenty of animals to see and you get to feed them. Amazing seafood by the waters, but we enjoyed delicious vegetarian food since we don't eat meat. The blue light was an icing on the cake which was so unexpected. Families with kids will definitely enjoy. - Tran W2 contributionsWe had the most incredible snorkeling experience in Bintan, thanks to Mr. Rio and his exceptional team! From the moment they picked us up from our hotel to the moment they dropped us off, we felt like royalty.
Mr. Rio went above and beyond to ensure our family had an unforgettable experience. He personally drove us to the speed boat and arranged everything with precision and care. His kindness, patience, and attention to detail made us feel so comfortable and at ease.
The snorkelling trip itself was breathtaking! While the water was not that crystal-clear waters, we were still able to experience the vibrant marine life, and stunning coral reefs. Mr. Rio and his team were always nearby, ensuring our safety and also helped us to take a lot of underwater photos and videos. My wife could not swim well but yet his team has helped her to gain confidence and went into the water to experience the fun herself.
Our kids had an absolute blast, and we couldn't be more grateful to Mr. Rio and his team for creating such an enjoyable and educational experience for them.
If you're looking for an affordable snorkelling adventure in Bintan, look no further! Mr. Rio and his team are the best in the business. We can't wait to come back and explore more of Bintan's wonders with them.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - shailendra jKanpur, India26 contributionsWhen did I last see Fireflies (jugnus) - must have been in my younger days until last week when we did experience one at Bintan. we got late for Mangrove trip hence changed that to Fireflies tour. it was worth the delay. totally dark was the area and once you approach fireflies sitting on the natural plants, they move and one can see their dance. We met by the port and got picked up by a kind driver with a nice car(1h) that took us to a speedboat (10min) which took us to a little wooden hut above the water where there was a bathroom, a kitchen and you even get a cabin of your own. Now, let’s talk about activities: first, you can do snorkeling where they give you all the gear. After that you can borrow a kayak and go to the nearby island (if the tide is high).
At this island, me and my daughter found A LOT of sea shells which we could take back home as a souvenir. Then, if you get hungry you can ask them to cook you something. They cooked us some delicious fried noodles with eggs and perfectly seasoned (compliments to the chef) and the crew was super friendly and took lots of pictures and videos of us. Mr Wang or Rio corresponded with me over Whatsapp and it was an excellent choice. Rio was flexible and accomodating and we went to the Blue Lake, Sand Dune, kelong lunch and sleeping Buddha temple. Also brought us to buy some local souvenirs. We ended our day with a dinner at the Asun food court which was a change from the more expensive resort restaurant food. - travell0ver222Faridabad, India118 contributionsAs you reach "Busung" & park your car, you feel sand dunes are just ok looking. But as you reach inside, They feel good with actually gravel & pebbles ( not exactly sand)
You start taking pictures. You go further inside, you start forgetting the heat of the sun
The moment you reach the "Blue Lake" you are awestruck, mesmerized & what not.
You go on taking pictures..... you dont want to leave the place !!!

The vehicle was clean and modern and we were taken to some very intetesting places that were off the beaten track. It was nice to get out of the Lagoi resort enclave to see a bit of the real Indonesia. It's quite barren with a handful of animals. Enjoyed the Mangrove and the Sand Dunes. Market is really just a huge supermarket. Temple was closed when we were there.
