What an amazing place! I could have spent a week browsing the exhibits. So nice too to be greeted by the founder and owner Sparrow Harrison. What a life he has had...

What a fantastic castle this is! Extensive remains which are really well looked after. Be sure to get the keys to the town walls - almost more impressive than the castle itself. A very warm Welsh welcome at the visitor centre. Cleanest toilets ever!!

What a great start to the Easter holidays! Well done St Asaph library for putting on such a brilliant activity. Hunting for clues round the common and back to the library to collect our prize - an Easter egg. Looking forward for the crafts on Wednesday.

Far far far more fun than we anticipated! Enjoyed the experience immensely and will be recommending it to everyone. A museum absolutely crammed with interesting items and displays.
Met Sparrow, the owner, who told us about his connections with the Great Robbers, the Kray twins and John Peel which made some of the exhibits even more fascinating. Just a great fun way to spend a few hours.

Nice small church, parking is limited.
Church was quite dark but opened. Inside of the church is lovely and stained glass interesting.

You will probably be the only people on the walls ! Like a small castle in itself. Definitely walk down Goblin Tower to the source of the Well. The walls were made this large to house the Burgess from the Welsh, but to also encapsulate the small reliable well at the bottom of Goblin Tower to feed the castle during great sieges. The Castle Well was prone to run dry. Magnificent views. Very safe, but a lot of steps. Definitely worth it.

We are Eastern Canadian and have a history with Wireless Communications. We were so impressed with this Place. The volunteers were so accomodating and passoniate about their displays and history. This is a 'must do' if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!

We visited as part of Open Doors. The museum is small but full of interesting items and there are various history books available to purchase. The model of the old railway station is fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Very good tennis club, situated in a nice park. Easy to join, free to use courts. Walking distance from all of Denbigh, and bus stop nearby.

Visiting Denbigh Castle, we parked next to St Hilary's Chapel.
Church ruins with only the tower still standing.
Nice info board with old photos.
Worth a look if you are at the castle.

You will get more out of this simple visit if you have read about the Abbey, Monks and Well before you get there! Very deep well. A spot ignored by the locals but which appears in its glory in most historic pictures of the town from the 18th and 19th C. Pop in on your way to or from the excellent nearby Italian.
