- KellyWashington DC, DC29 contributionsWe had a wonderful boat ride, lunch and Rum tour! We enjoyed seeing the crocodiles, monkeys and many different types of birds during the morning boat ride. We had a delicious lunch of chicken, rice and beans, and vegetables followed by a lesson on how to make rum from sugar cane. We enjoyed rum tasting and adding different ingredients to personalize our drinks to each guests tastes. - Curiosity142693021738 contributionsWe save the best national park for last - Santa Rosa, the day before we flew back to the USA. We didn't make our reservation until the night before and learned to our utter dismay that the park is closed on Tuesdays. We got there too late in the day our last visit to Costa Rica. And this was probably our last visit to Costa Rica so I cried I was so disappointed. We drove slowly along the road to the entrance, but they wouldn't let us stop to birdwatch so we were tremendously disappointed. - Elizabeth M1 contributionThis is the best fishing charter I have taken. We were able to fish, off shore, while still in sight of our resort. Instead of spending most of our trip traveling to our fishing spot, we were able to get fishing right away because of this awesome location. Our guides and captain were great. We were provided with ample drinks. We had fresh ceviche made from one of our catches right in front of us. Our lunch was provided and was wonderful. We caught Dorado and Sailfish. He was very friendly, on time and he got us to our destination and home quickly and safely.
