The tour started with the boat trip which included monkeys, crocodiles and birds. Our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable.
Next we did the cultural tour and learned how Costa Ricans used to live and cook. Again our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We also got make corn tortillas and eat them. Very fun and yummy!!!
Our day ended with the rum tour. BEST! THING!! EVER!!!!
Our tour guide Michael made me want to become a rum expert. Very knowledgeable and great at sharing about it. You could tell he loves his job and made the tour so fun. - Inspiration7669481 contributionGreat experience made possible by Captain Jesus and First Mate Alberto. My wife and I were picked up promptly at Andaz Resort and while the weather wasn't picture perfect, Jesus and Alberto made our 1/2 day fishing and snorkeling trip pleasant and memorable. We caught a big eye tuna and Alberto expertly fileted it, and while we were snorkeling, Captain Jesus prepared sashimi accompanying fresh guacamole and chips. Alberto was very kind accompanying us snorkeling and giving us advice. - Beth W11 contributionsWhat can I say…. Hands down best fishing trip my husband, friends and I have ever had. Every year we take a trip to a different country and we always book a fishing trip to catch fish that are native to the island and in all the ones we had this one was the best. Jerald and Captain Robert were so knowledgeable about fishing and so many things about the island. It was incredible. We got to see so many cool things that some were so fast you couldn’t catch it on camera but amazing to see in person. We caught 3 rooster fish that day and also a black tuna, a mackerel, some lady fish and blue runner. The crew were so friendly and Jerald was exceptionally with the lunch, snacks and beverages. - Mark ZSeattle, WA102 contributionsTransmilla and our driver Eddie were a lifesaver! We had booked another shuttle company to take us to the airport from Tamarindo to San Jose during the busy Easter holiday weekend and they didn't show.
We had to scramble and all the other shuttle companies were booked. Luckily we were able to flag down Eddie and he was flexible to immediately take us.
