- helenDevEsperance, Australia23 contributionsThis is a little hidden gem in Vic Park. Relaxed style markets where you can take the dog, buy a great coffee, and a fresh sour dough loaf. We are a little dog starved at the moment, so I go with the kids just to see a whole bunch of cute sausage dogs, cavoodles and mini poodles! (sad but true). The surrounding park has just been upgraded, so it is a good spot for little ones. - Rosemarie A1 contributionWhen it came into new management I had to call in and try it. Manager Michael showed me around the fruit and veg dept and was so helpful. Food was great but the service is what I prefer. Everytime I dropped in, Michael would welcome me and tell me what was great that day and share recipe ideas! Love that kind of service. When I recently went in, the energy had changed. I'd asked where Michael was and was given the cold shoulder and zero help. I could see the quality of the food had dropped and the spirit of the place gone. I'd put a few friends onto them and they knew Michael too and I was shocked today to hear the same experience as I had. What a shame. It was the energy that invited me into this place, and the food. - Climber473701 contributionDue to injuries I have had lots of Physiotherapy without much success. Went to La Terra Health Centre where Ivan worked his magic.
No more Physiotherapy just going to see Ivan.

Over 17 days, we ticked off the highlights of south west WA, starting in Margaret River where Martial had organised a couple of winery visits, canoeing on the Margaret River and sections of the Cape to Cape hike. From there we visited Pemberton, The Stirling Range, Albany, Fitzgerald River National Park, Esperance and Lucky Bay before heading inland to Wave Rock and New Norcia, finishing with a night shoot at the Pinnacles on the way back to Perth.
With Martial's detailed knowledge of the locations, we were always in the right place at the right time, photographing everything from landscapes to architecture, the lunar eclipse, the Milky Way, wildlife, shoes hung on a fence, birds, wild flowers and old trucks. Martial is a fantastic photographer and a great teacher who willingly shared his knowledge of all things photography, including some great post-processing tips.
I highly recommend a tour with Martial - such an awesome way to see the best of Western Australia with endless photo opportunities and expert tuition. - ellew500Melbourne, Australia31 contributionsI loved this place as a child. Unfortunately the feel of it has somewhat gone. The trees mouth no longer moves (a key part of my love of this place). Also there is no longer things hanging as much. Would probably be wonderful for children's birthdays.
Animals coming through the trapdoor and using a slide when adopted, also the unique animals here are the drawcard. Bahman's use of his own commentary, Google Street View to view both outside and inside famous sites in Samarqand and Bukhara, as well as YouTube clips to introduce particular themes of the tour (Persian New Year, Uzbekistan's mountains, the marketplaces, etc) - is brilliant. In addition, as I had my 90-year-old grandmother with me for the second Uzbekistan tour, Bahman was flexible enough to accommodate the tour around her nursing home lunch times.
