We spent the afternoon making food for the elephants, learning about them and feeding them. The staff were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Would highly recommend for anyone.

I nice temple on Koh Samui with a few rather large statues honoring Buddha. This is well worth the time taken to visit and be sure to buy fish food while there and watch the excitement when you throw it in the water.

Lovely beach (there is a lot of seaweed though in the sea) lots of bars and restaurants all of them good. You pay a little more in this area of Samui for food and drinks but it has a lot going for it ... gorgeous hotels and swanky bars, jet skis. There is a walking street market every night. Not the place for sea swimmers or snorkelling but it's swanky and family friendly

We visited the big Buddha with our 9 month old daughter in baby carrier. We walked to the site as we're staying fairly close by so finding it was not a problem. There is a lovely golden gate and a walkway out to the island where the Buddha sits. It's not the largest statue we have ever seen but certainly impressive.

The area around the temple was fairly empty , we did go around 1300 so people might have been at lunch but had a lovely time climbing the steps , ringing the Bells and taking in the peace with our baby girl.

A worthwhile 1hr or so out of your holiday and totally free so don't miss out.
