We wanted to experience the nature and so we booked a tour with David &Golia crew. It was the right choice as the day was enjoyable and we have experienced great moments, thanks to the captain of the boat and the entire crew. Highly recommend it to everyone searching for an authentic way to spend your time on a cruise ship 🚢⚓. Just to go with real fishmongers and see the way how they work is incredible!! We spend a beautiful day with Patrizio and Giuseppe and they were so friendly!!! Have a fresh fish for lunch ( what I fish 20 minutes ago), jump in the clearers see what I ever see was just fabulous!! It was the best experience!!! If you want to see real fishmongers you have to go with pescaturismo Su Lo!! - Luciano L17 contributionsWe were a bit wary of being on a crowded boat in these times, but it was all very well organised and disciplined. They are now running at half capacity, which means 170 pax, so the beaches are not exactly empty, however, this is a must do trip. The scenery is spectacular - the water, the coastline incredible and the overall experience quit eunique.
A 10 hour trip will never be without some discomfort, but one can find places to relax and take a break, even on the boat. Very well run - even the meal we got for €10 was better than expected. They do offer a selection of things to eat so one can avoid the prepaid set lunch.
We were glad we did not opt for the rival company Davide & Golia, with the hollering would be Pavarotti captain and showman - 10 hours of that would have sent me overboard, but I assume many will like the entertainemnt and certainly fits the holiday spirit.Written 1 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is well worth the money and the crew is by far the most experienced captain/fishing guide I have gone out with. We will be making the trip back to the island at some point and are planning on going with them again. Friendly family, quick responses and a fun time. It was the best holiday fun ever! The school is at the far end of La Caletta beach and away from the beach bathers.
There is paid parking nearby and its about a 5-10 minutes depending how fast you walk. You can park in a residential area for free if you know the place. There are no toilet and food snd drink shops nearby so beware of this, but there is a restaurent on the beach but you would need to walk about 15 minutes, or swim!
My teacher was Anna and she was excellent; always encourages and corrects your mistakes.
After an hour or so I was able to fly the kite and she shouted to me "Lee, I am proud of you!". So from a beginner like me who said this was too hard to being capable very quickly made my day.
Unfortunately, the last two sessions were windy for beginners so this was canceled and we had to fly back home.
However, we promised ourselves we will continue again next year in La Caletta!
