    Tall
    Not fussed on heights so we didn't go up, just looked up and its an impressive building so worth the effort to get there. The food court was unbelievably busy and after a couple of minutes searching for a table we gave up. There did not look to be a queue for the tower however.

    Beautifully re-purposed factory buildings set in lovely gardens
    Not open on Mondays, but we were still able to walk around the beautifully re-purposed factory buildings which are set in lovely gardens.

    Great history timeline
    Came here on a rainy morning - very good explanation of the history and timeline of the immigration of Han peoples to Taiwan, the establishment of the Republic of China, and how it intereacted with the ceding of Taiwan to Japan, and the coming of the Nationalist government to Taiwan to escape the Communist takeover.

    Authentic Taiwanese street food
    Raohe Street Night Market is definitely one of the biggest and most famous night markets in Taipei, Taiwan. There is a great variety of street food from authenticity to fusion and tradition to modern.

    The most popular, must-eat foods are Pepper pastries, the Braised Pork Chops in Chinese Medicine Soup, the Mochi with Peanut & Sesame Powder and the Fried Taro Ball with Salted Egg Yolk.

    My favorite was the pepper pastries, which is the first stand located right at the entrance of the night market with a long line all the time. The paper pastries are covered with a crispy pocket bread, filled with juicy pork patty infused with black pepper and other spices.

    Overall, It’s totally worth a visit to Raohe Street Night Market and the transportation is also convenient by MRT.
