    So much more than just a food tour!
    June was an absolutely brilliant host. We had such a good time on our food tour. June has so much history and shared loads of interesting facts. She also shared tips on things to do in Taipei. Her English is excellent & she quickly tailored the tour to exactly what we like.

    We tried so many delicious dishes that we wouldn’t have tried on our own & we’ve even gone back to a few of the places to eat again.

    Our time with June was a highlight of our time in Taipei!! Thanks June!!

    Beautiful scenery & nice weather
    We had sufficient time touring each place, it was not rushed. The guide was friendly and even bought us Bubble Tea when we finished visiting YeLiu GeoPark. It’s a pleasant surprise. He even dropped us off near our place at the end of the tour, saved us 1 hour travelling back from the point where he picked us up. Overall, I am very satisfied and will strongly recommend to my friends.

    6 hours is not enough!!
    We had a 23-hour layover in Taipei and decided to do an overnight hotel stay in Taipei City and booked a private city tour (6 hour) for the morning with Yolo Taiwan. This was by far the best decision ever!! Booking online with Eddie was quick and easy. Everything was arranged for us, and even the hotel knew when we checked in at night that we had a tour arranged for the next morning. Harry, our tour guide/driver, was the best!! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer person. From his in-depth knowledge of Taiwanese culture and history, to all the secret/select food stands and shops that he took us to, made our short stay in Taipei all the more memorable. He made us feel like we were part of the family. Our only regret was not having more time to spend on tour, to see more of the city and try a lot more delicious food. Would highly recommend Yolo Taiwan if you are looking to book a layover tour in Taipei, and ask for Harry, you will not be disappointed!!!

    Must do
    Amazing experience learning to cook traditional dishes. Instructors, Dawn and Vicky, were fantastic. We were well taken care of and they even baked a surprise for my wife’s birthday, unprompted. Will recommend for anyone visiting Taipei.

    Personalised tour travel experience of Jiufen and Shifen waterfall
    We had a very enjoyable travel experience with James as our English speaking tour guide who helped with taking many photos of us in the key scenic locations, food recommendations (xiaolongbao, stuffed chicken wing, oolong tea, sausage with garlic) and explained the detailed history of the small towns.

    We started our tour with a hotel pick up, then headed to Jiufen early to beat the many bus tour crowds. As it was the May long weekend, the popular sites were very busy, which made having a private guide a lot easier to navigate the small laneways, visit the tea-house and didn't have to wait for others. Having a private car, allowed more flexibility with drop off/pick up, and James made it very convenient for us to be collected in his car when the rain started to pour down.

    We then travelled to Shifen waterfall, walked the path and lit a sky lantern before taking the scenic train. Overall enjoyed the full day experience and would recommend it to other travellers who want to have a richer personalised travel experience.

    Nice trip! Good amount of food too without the long wait!
    Great experience and good way to get to Din Tai Fung without the huge wait!

    I actually visited here in Sept 2019, booked on this tour and had a good experience. The food at the restaurant was good and the driver, I still remember was very friendly. The night market is a bit underwhelming but the trip I would still recommend!

    I always engage local drivers whenever I travel to Taiwan in Taiwan.
    I must say that Charlie is, if not the best drivers that I'd engaged to date so far for all my trips to Taiwan.
    As Charlie's returning customer, this is the 2nd time I'm engaging his service to tour Taiwan, 9 days this time!

    Charlie is sincere, honest and very friendly. You'll immediately feel his warm personality the moment you meet him face to face.
    Charlie will enthusiastically share the fun facts or historical information of various places visited, what and where the interesting food are as well as what fruits are in season.
    Your trip with Charlie will never be bored.
    Pricing is reasonable and value for money.

    The guide was excellent.
    And the car was clean as well
    We didn't have any plans at first
    But the guide recommended us where to go , what to do

    Jiufen Old Road - Taipei
    Lovely visit with lots to see and varied souvenirs to buy. A good mix of casual stores that are well presented and well priced. Loved the opportunity to sample local delicacies amid a flurry of international tourists. Roads are narrow with some good photo opportunities.
    Ablutions seem to be sparse and huge crowds developed after 18:00 at night.
    We bussed in and out saving a fortune and enjoying WiFi all at the same time! A worthwhile visit - easy to navigate around and rather exciting.
    Have the beef noodle soup - delicious.

    Amazing day with Caleb with Yolo Tours!
    We had a customized private tour for one day with Caleb. We selected a custom itinerary with Caleb’s help and had the most amazing day! Caleb was driver and guide, as well as a great and patient photographer. He knew the attractions inside and out. He timed our eight hour day perfectly to fit in everything we wanted. Luxury car transportation also. We visited the Yehliu Geopark and Caleb knew every rock. The Taipei city part of the tour was fascinating and informative. A true professional in every way. Highly recommended!

    Wonderful first day of vacation
    My trip to Shiding, Pinglin and Shenken Old Street was a wonderful experience. My tour guide, Mr. Joseph, was very attentive and caring. He made sure I could see and learn about everything that was of interest to me. He also facilitated my discussions with some very interesting and kind people, discussion about tea, about tea ceramics, incence and woodwork. This day trip was a great way to start my vacation in Taiwan! Thank you very much, Mr. Joseph, and to your colleagues from Edison Tours, for making sure everything went so well!❤️
