Da'an park is a nice place if you just want to take a quick stroll, the terrain is nice, and the park is almost 1km long, I recommend taking a quick walk here if you are near as the park is good for walking

As a former student of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU), universally known as "Shih Da," I must say that the standard of teaching is extremely high. Shih Da was founded in the Japanese colonial era (1895-1945) to train teachers for Taiwan's schools. Chinese people admire scholarship, and graduating from Shih Da puts graduates, mainly young women, on the road to a rewarding and respected career. The NTNU campus is quite picturesque, and dates from 1920s.

Fuyang Eco Park was once a munitions depot, which is why it remained untouched. It is a piece of land that remains much as Taipei was 100 years ago. There aere some relics remaining, it's a great place to step back in time,

I live in the city and just wanted to take a break from it all for a bit. It's a nice little walk through the woods. Very relaxing. Whole thing took only an hour or so to walk in and out, but it's nice for sitting. Saw a couple people doing yoga. Such a beautiful little getaway right in the middle of the city.

My hubby read lots of his books. When he visited his house, he felt the connection. The video was informative and easy for me to understand. We also made a donation and hope more people will appreciate his ideas and thoughts.

This small park is situated in a densely built-up urban area of Taipei, not far from the Da'an Forest Park MRT Station. The park is useful for the neighborhood children who want to take a break from their studies. Jinan Park is hardly spectacular, but it is nice for the local residents.

This is a unique spot in Taipei if not in the world. It is a magazine library with over 20,000 magazines in many languages mainly around art, design, fashion, architecture. It's run by two lovely people, Spencer and Ken who will enthusiastically tell you about their business and their passion for allowing people a quiet space to relax and just sit and read without the distraction of wifi / telephones, coffee, food, snacks. You can buy a day membership or annual if you plan on visiting more often.
The building is also unique, as upstairs they have an acapella cafe with concerts and a beer tasting place. They are part of a community that want to appeal to all the senses.
Well worth a trip you won't be disappointed.

A very small-sized and specific exhibition museum if you have spare time about 2 hours and no ideas where to go.

There are periodical exhibitions and I learn some new perspects about art or architecture. This museum is very contemporary and white design color, even the lavatory is quite white and neat.

I was a summer intern at the Red Room two years ago and even now I still consider it one of the most unique places I've ever set foot in. The Red Room offers a variety of events, such as open mic nights (dubbed "Stage Time and Wine") and curated galleries featuring a diverse roster of artists. There are activities for people of all ages, and the staff at the Red Room go out of their way to make sure their guests feel comfortable. If you have the opportunity to stop by the area, a visit to the Red Room space is highly recommended.

The Scared Heart of Church is in the Da'an area. The congregation consists mainly of local worshippers; Mass is usually said in Chinese. All believers are welcome. Easter, to which Christians attach utmost importance, is celebrated faithfully. The next major festival is Christmas. The Church is nicely decorated with traditional Catholic motifs.
