Amazing ~ what a trip thru history. Started the tour with a video and then a tour thru the bell factory.

There is an entrance fee, but it is minimal and only for the museum. A video is played showing the art of copper smithing and in the museum, there are older copper antiques, tools etc. to see. The owners are very gracious, anxious to show not only the wares, but also to gain an appreciation of copper smithing, which is famous in Agnone.
The shop is quite large which has many unique articles in copper.

You can say that if you've seen one church, you've seen them all, which is true to a point. This was particularly beautiful and had greater meaning to me because my great-grandparents were baptized and married in this church. As Agnone is not a large city, it is easily accessible in the old town and worth seeing. Hours may be brief, i.e. 9 to 1pm.. check before going although if you are staying in town, it is not a long walk and extremely close to Borgo San Pietro.

It's difficult to find a church in Italy that dates back to Renaissance or before, and not have wonderful art work. This is no exception.

The church of Sant'Antonio is the centre of Agnone and is almost one thousand years old. It has the biggest belfry and the biggest bells. The inside is decorated with frescos
